Various companies run trains within our area.

Journeys wholly within the West Yorkshire area are very cheap, and are easily accessed from Kellington by travelling to Knottingley or Castleford and catching the train to Leeds and then to other connections. It is currently much cheaper to travel by train to Leeds from Knottingley or Castleford than by train from Selby, Hensall or Whitley Bridge. The service from Castleford is roughly every half hour. There are also direct trains from Castleford to Sheffield and Wakefield.

From Selby there are direct trains to many local and mainline stations, including London and Manchester.
