Kellington is a small village situated at the junction of North, West, South and East Yorkshire. Still very rural, it is only 5 miles from the vast West Yorkshire connurbation, and although some residents are employed in farming, mining at Kellingley Colliery or in the nearby Eggborough and Drax Power stations, the majority take advantage of the excellent road links to commute to nearby towns and cities.

We are very fortunate in Kellington in that we still retain all the necessary ingredients to create a thriving community. We have a Corner Shop, a Post Office, a Church, a Primary School and 2 pubs, one of which also serves excellent meals.
