On Saturday the 3rd of December, 2005, the Parish Plan was launched. A copy was available for every household in the village, and will be delivered to those who did not collect them in person from the Parish Hall at the special launch event.
The Start of the Parish Plan In September. 2003 a committee was set up to formulate a "Village Developement Plan" and part of this process was to organise a "Planning for Real" day. This event took place in July, 2004 at the Village Hall. Everyone in the village was invited to attend this function and express their opinions on how the village should be developed in future years. It was well attended and many positive suggestions were put forward for consideration. A number of photographs depicting the village as it used to be stimulated a lot of discussion, particularly amongst those who could go back to those times.
