EGGBOROUGH V WHITLEY BRIDGE

SATURDAY 11 JUNE 2005

This game will be forever known as "That Four!"

This was a fine team effort. Following a magnificent bowling stint by Simom Shann (who at one stage took 3 wickets in four bowls) the foundation for victory was set by a the opening batsmen who accounted for 54 runs before the partnership was split. Martin Simpson scored an unbeaten 56 which ended with a final "big 6" to win the match over table toppers and local rivals Whitley Bridge
