About the Club

The club was formed in November 2003 by Roger and Sue Talbot, assisted by Katherine Stannard. Now the club has 3 teams who already compete, a team ready to compete in Starter tournaments plus a beginner group. Training sessions at the Drax Power Station Social Club on Sunday mornings are friendly and fun, for the handlers as well as the dogs. The dogs usually end the session with a quarter of an hour or so running round together, while for the handlers, a drink or an excellent Sunday lunch is available in the Clubhouse.

Think it's something you and your dog would enjoy? If your dog loves to play with a ball, is sociable with people and other dogs and will come to you when offlead, he's probably an ideal candidate - If you are looking for a new way to enjoy your dog and fancy the idea of fun weekends competing in Flyball tournaments give it a try.

Take a look at this video, which will show you what it's all about
